About Mr. Zoglman-Garcia
Hello! I am Mr. Zoglman-Garcia, I am so glad to be your math teacher this year! I have taught math for 6 years and am very excited to begin my 7th year! This will be my third year at UCA.
I have taught Secondary Math 2 every year I have taught, so you can say that I am beginning to know this content like the back of my hand. So please don't ever hesitate to seek out help from me. I know many ways to explain the concepts in this course, including ways I might not have time to explore in LiveLessons.
When I am not teaching I am an avid player of games. While I do play some video games, I am much more invested in table top gaming. My favorites are Magic: the Gathering, Flesh and Blood, and Dungeons & Dragons. I also really enjoy running and completed my first half-marathon this last spring in 88 minutes. Other than these I enjoy spending time with my family which currently includes my wife and dog.
When it comes to entertainment, I actually love to learn! I enjoy watching educational content on YouTube as well as documentaries on all the streaming platforms. When it comes to reading I absolutely love non-fiction books that seem interesting to me and tend to listen to them in audio book form as I go out on training runs.
